A forested loop with a Hoh River viewpoint

Summary: The 1.25 mile Spruce Nature Trail is the perfect addition to the Hall of Mosses Trail (0.8 mile) creating a nice 2 mile day-hiking combo. The Spruce Nature Trail provides you the opportunity to walk alongside the mighty Hoh River and lush green riverside meadows, which is prime territory for the frequently-seen Roosevelt Elk herd. Plus, as with any Hoh Rain Forest trail, you'll be surrounded by towering moss-laden trees. If you're looking to wander a few miles further, be sure to look check out the Hoh River Trail, which can be found at the junction for the Spruce Nature Trail.
