Parking Information for Olympic Wilderness Coast

Last updated 4/27/2026: For backpackers utilizing our Olympic Hiking Co. coastal trailhead shuttles (click here to learn more) for the Olympic Wilderness Coast, we created this parking guide for each of the individual trailheads we service.

Third Beach

  • Location: Highway 110 in Olympic National Park (click here for Google Maps link)

  • Parking pass: None required.

  • Other notes: The parking lot does fill to capacity during peak travel times. Please arrive 30 minutes early (prior to your departure) to assess the parking situation. If the parking lot is full, there is an overflow parking lot at the Second Beach trailhead (however, it is currently under construction as of 4/27/2026).

Oil City

  • Location: At the very end of Oil City Road in Olympic National Park (click here for Google Maps link).

  • Parking pass: None required.

  • Other notes: IMPORTANT! Please ensure that you are driving on Oil City Road, which is NORTH of the Hoh River. GPS can mistakenly lead drivers to the south side of the Hoh River, which is not correct. Please use our Google Maps link above.

Rialto Beach

  • Location: At the very end of Mora Road in Olympic National Park, which adjoins the Quileute Tribe reservation (click here for Google Maps link). See image below.

  • Parking pass: Not required in ONP paved parking lot, but required in Quileute Tribe gravel parking lot (see below)

  • Other notes: Both parking lots do fill to capacity during peak travel times. Please arrive 30 minutes early (prior to your departure) to assess the parking situation. Please refer to the additional information below for the Quileute Tribe Parking Pass.

Quileute Tribe Parking Pass Information

Visitors will pay $10 per parking session using ParkMobile, a widely used mobile payment platform. Signage at each lot will provide instructions and zone information. For visitors who are unable to pay by phone, daily parking passes will be available for purchase at Lonesome Creek Store for the same rate.

Ozette

  • Location: Parking lot near the end of Hoko-Ozette Road in Olympic National Park (click here for Google Maps link).

  • Parking pass: None required.

  • Other notes: This is a large gravel parking lot near the Ozette Ranger Station and Ozette trailhead. There is limited cell reception here. If you need refreshments or last-minute supplies, the Lost Resort is just a half mile (east) up the road from the parking lot.

Shi Shi

  • Location: Paid private parking lot (0.5 mile before trailhead) on Tsoo-Yess Beach Rd on Makah Reservation (click here for Google Maps link).

  • Parking pass: $10 per day parking fee required + Makah Recreation Pass

  • Other notes: If you are parking a vehicle at Shi Shi Beach, you first need to purchase a Makah Recreation Pass when traveling through Neah Bay. For more information, you can visit https://makah.com/attractions/recreation-permits/. Note: a Makah recreation pass is only required when parking a vehicle in Neah Bay.

  • There are two parking lots for Shi Shi Beach:

    • The first is a paid, private overnight parking lot ($10 per day), which is recommended for all overnight backpackers. This is a half mile up the road, before the actual trailhead. We recommend reading the Google reviews to familiarize yourself with the process and connecting with Breeze to pay for your parking visit. Cash only!

      • If you are parking your vehicle overnight, we will pick you up from this paid private parking lot.

    • The second is a day-use parking lot at the actual Shi Shi Beach trailhead. It is not advised to park overnight at this location.

      • If you are ending your hike at Shi Shi, we will pick you up from the actual trailhead.
