Trailhead Shuttle Overview

Shuttle Duration: 2-3 hours (based on entrance fee station wait time)

  • 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM

  • 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    Note: To avoid 1-2 hour entrance fee station delays at the Hoh Rain Forest, these are the only departure times we can offer.

Additional Information

This trailhead shuttle provides transportation for backpackers from the Sol Duc trailhead to the Hoh Rain Forest trailhead in Olympic National Park. It is roughly a 1 hour 45 minute drive. Our passenger check-in will be at the Sol Duc trailhead, which is at the very end of the Sol Duc Road at the backpacking and day-use parking lot for Sol Duc Falls. Please arrive early as the parking lot can typically be full during the busier summer months. This group shuttle is only available after July 15 as online permits on recreation.gov are only allowed Jul 15 - Oct 15 due to waiting for the winter snowpack melt. In general, we recommend to backpackers to arrange the shuttle at the beginning of the trip if possible, so you don’t have to stress about timing an exact exit date and time during your hiking trip. A very nice feeling knowing you have your car ready for you whenever you are!
