About the Tour

Our Half Day Tour of Olympic National Park itinerary was specifically designed to allow Seattle-based travelers to experience the best of Olympic National Park on a day trip without the need for a rental car or an overnight stay.

Our afternoon guided tour features a sightseeing stop to Madison Falls at the Elwha River and a guided hike to Marymere Falls (2-3 mi), concluding at the historic and picturesque Lake Crescent Lodge Old-growth forests, waterfalls, a glacier-fed river, and one of the most picturesque lakes in the Pacific Northwest make this day trip well worth the voyage and scenic bus ride.

Travel Advisory: Washington State Ferries can experience schedule delays for the Seattle-Bainbridge sailing, especially during the summer. We recommend the 8:45am sailing instead of the 9:35am to avoid a missed connection with the Strait Shot Bus, which departs promptly at 10:20am. This provides a 1 hour buffer instead of a 10 minute connection window. However, the 9:35am ferry is feasible if there are no unexpected delays.
