Tour Summary

Sol Duc Falls is one of the iconic waterfalls of Olympic National Park. On this guided hiking tour, we will hike the 0.8 mile one-way trail to Sol Duc Falls through a stunning river valley surrounded by towering old-growth evergreens. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a front-row view of the mighty Sol Duc Falls from multiple viewpoints, including an incredible rustic log bridge. Throughout the tour, our Olympic Hiking Co. naturalist hiking guide will point out landmarks, overview the flora and fauna, and discuss the natural history of the area.

  • Hiking: 1.6 miles roundtrip

  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Notes: Nature stairs, some uneven terrain with rocks and tree roots

  • Picnic Lunch: Build your own sandwich, chips, trail mix, and bottled water • $12 add-on
