Background and Information

An Invitation to our Valued Front-Line Tourism Information Specialists

Spring is blooming all around us, and that means that our busy visitor season can’t be far behind!  We all know how things can go in July and August, with everyone eager to visit the same places at the same time. And sometimes, if they just knew about an alternative location to experience those big mossy trees and prehistoric ferns, or a different beach to visit, or a special place that better suited their travel style, they would be delighted … and you would be their hero for providing that information!

We want to make it easy for your team to speak from experience in suggesting diverse areas of the Olympic Peninsula to visit.  The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau is partnering with Olympic Hiking Co. to host three area familiarization tours specifically for Visitor Information Center staff and volunteers, as well as lodging front-line team members – those with guest contact roles – to get out and experience firsthand some of these special areas of the Olympic Peninsula.
